Marshfield: Volunteering with MCHS

Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) welcomes individuals and groups to volunteer for a variety of opportunities to improve the quality of life and health within local communities. 

Community Connections Team (CCT)
Community Connections Team (CCT) is an initiative by the Marshfield Clinic Health System, Family Health Center Inc., and UW-Eau Claire. University student volunteers and community volunteers are given the opportunity to connect patients to resources in their community to enhance the overall health of our community members. Volunteers collaborate with patients to identify social determinant needs and reach out to available resources that work best to alleviate those needs. Volunteers follow-up with patients to ensure all needs are met.

Independent and Upright Falls Prevention (I&U)
Independent and Upright is a fall risk prevention program to help individuals maintain independence by assisting to reduce fall risks in the home through education and peer-to-peer home visits.

Marshfield Child Advocacy Center

The center is championed by a board certified pediatrician who specializes in providing comprehensive care for children who are potential victims of abuse, including physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and witness to violence. In addition, consultation services are provided to other physicians for children hospitalized with suspicious bodily injuries.

Marshfield Clinic Youth Net
Youth Net is an afterschool program serving youth ages 8-18. The program is focused on helping each student improve their academic performance, social emotional learning, and healthy active living.

Marshfield Medical Center
Our flagship hospital cares for patients from throughout central, northern and western Wisconsin. Marshfield Medical Center offers primary, secondary, tertiary and Level II Trauma Center hospital services provided by Marshfield Clinic specialists.
